Believing in holistic education, Acts House of Education has a wide selection of sport activities on offer, creating opportunity for individual growth and team participation. Through excellence in sporting practice, teaching correct skills and encouraging healthy competition, the sports field becomes a place of fun, achievement and preparation for all areas of life. A passion for a sport of their choice encourages physical development, builds confidence and facilitates healthy individual and social engagement. Sports offered at the various levels include: Cricket, Netball, Soccer (Boys’ & Girls’), Softball, Volleyball, Rugby (Boys’ & Girls’) Athletics and Cross Country.
Our learners love their athletics season and are very enthusiastic to get the year going with athletics. We have our annual interhouse day in January and thereafter we participate at the interschools competition.
Cricket is a term 1 sport and is played in a league competition for our primary school.
Netball, though a very new sport in primary school, has been very successful for our learners. Netball is a term 2 sport that is played in a league format.
Our learners love soccer and have a great track record placing in multiple finals. Soccer is a term 2 sport for the boys and a term 3 sport for the girls. We play soccer in a league format against other schools.
Softball is popular amongst our primary school girls, the sport is offered in Term 1 and is played amongst other schools in a league.
Touch rugby is a new sport that we are growing in primary school. We have an interhouse competition once in term 1 for touch rugby.
Volleyball will be played in Term 3 and is a league competition against other schools.
